SSUNS recognizes the financial barriers often impeding the ability of delegates and delegations to plan, travel to, and participate in Model UN conferences. In order to support delegations in attending SSUNS, we will be offering financial aid on a rolling basis to the entire delegation as well as to independent delegates. The financial support aims to alleviate a portion of the cost for students at registration.

We will be allocating funds on a rolling basis in advance of the conference and prior to invoicing. There are four submission deadlines for financial aid applications this year: June 15th, August 12th, September 19th and October 10th. It is our sincerest hope that by providing financial support in this way, it will maximize the impact of the funds and assist more delegates to attend and experience our conference this November.

In order to apply, your delegation must already be registered to attend the conference and has indicated an interest in applying for the financial aid program on the registration form. Registrants indicating interest will not be invoiced until after their Financial Aid Application is reviewed.  If your delegation is chosen to receive financial assistance, the funds will be deducted from your invoice. All applications are strictly confidential and will not be used for any purposes other than awarding financial aid. Note that financial aid is offered only to delegations as a whole or to independent registrants; we will not be accepting individual applications from students attending as part of a delegation.
