SSUNS Financial Policies 2024


 

Welcome and thank you for your interest in SSUNS 2024! Our goal is to facilitate your financing experience for our conference, and we aim to make the process simple and efficient for everyone. As such, we have drafted a finance policy to help provide key deadlines and clear finance guidelines for payment methods and standard operating procedures. We also have a registration flow chart to give a visual on how registration will proceed!

Refund procedures

The deadline for registering will be October 13. After October 11, refunds will no longer be issued. If a delegation withdraws after October 11, their account will be credited and fees will go towards their invoice for future SSUNS. Regardless of the payment method, all refund requests will be completed on our end via cheque.

Special amendments to the registration deadline stated above may be considered for delegations that have complete payment ready at the time of registration. 

Payment procedures

  1. The deadline for 4 rounds of financial aid applications will be June 15th, August 12th, September 19th, October 10th.

  2. The last date to accept payment will be October 27th. Delegations will not receive character assignments until confirmation of payment is received.

  3. Invoices must be paid within 30 business days of the invoice issue date.

  4. If payment is completed via cheque, a picture of the cheque must be provided to our SSUNS USG Finance email (finance@ssuns.org) to confirm it has been sent.

  5. An email will be sent to delegations to confirm our reception of payments. Country and character assignments will only be issued after this confirmation.
